Newcastle v Manchester City Betting Form

Newcastle on the other hand picked up a much-needed win in the league, defeating City’s neighbours Manchester United despite being down to ten men for the entire second half. The Magpies have struggled in the league this season, but also have shown strong form in the Champions League and FA Cup. Newcastle have only won one of their four meetings with City this season, but will welcome Pep Guardiola’s men full of confidence after their encouraging win on Wednesday.

NEWCASTLE LEAGUE FORM

WIN: Newcastle 2-1 Man United, 4 March 2026
LOSS: Newcastle 2-3 Everton, 28 February 2026
LOSS: Man City 2-1 Newcastle, 21 February 2026

City dropped vital points in the Premier League title race in their last match, drawing with Nottingham Forest, but they remain in strong positions in all three other major competitions. Pep Guardiola’s side have drawn Real Madrid in the Champions League, and face a very familiar foe in Newcastle in the FA Cup. City have already beaten Newcastle in the EFL Cup, winning 5-1 over two legs earlier in the year. Can they win again in the FA Cup?

NEWCASTLE V MANCHESTER CITY FOOTBALL SPREAD BETTING PRICES

We also offer a number of spread betting markets for Saturday’s clash, including our “Goal Supremacy” market. This market currently has City favoured by 0.45-0.65 goals. This means that if you placed a “buy” bet, you would need City to win to start turning a profit. A one-goal victory for City would win you 0.35 times your stake, a two-goal win 1.35 times your stake, and so on.

However, if you bought and City lost or drew the match, you would lose money. Here, a one-goal loss would cost you 1.65 times your stake, a two-goal loss 2.65 times your stake, etc.

You can also bet on the total number of goals scored during the game with our Total Goals market. This is currently set at 3.2-3.4. If you’re expecting plenty of goalmouth action, you would “buy” and would need at least four total goals to turn a profit. Alternatively, if you expect the attackers to struggle at St James’ Park, you would “sell” and need three goals or fewer to be scored in the game.

If you sold and the game ended in a 0-0 draw, you would win 3.2 times your stake. However, if you sold and the game ended 4-2, you would lose 2.8 times your stake. It’s important to remember that when spread betting, if your bet loses, you can lose multiples of your stake, so be sure to choose appropriate stake sizes for each market.
